CREW Atlanta: What made you decide to work in the field you are in? 

Heather Lamb: The growth of the Atlanta market and the revitalization of Midtown in the late 90s/early 2000s fascinated me and I wanted to be a part of the industry that changed the face of our city.

How do you think your profession may change in the next 10-20 years?

Technology is quickly changing commercial real estate!  We are going to see this continue to evolve over the next 10-20 years which will improve the efficiency in which we work and expedite the decision making process.

When and how did you join CREW?

I joined CREW in 2008 when I was the only woman in the office in brokerage…I needed some friends!

If you had to pick a different job, what would it be?

My dream job would be the real estate investor buying buildings, fixing them up and selling them off. As a leasing broker now, I help real estate investor clients do this now, but someday, I will use my own financial strength to do it too!

Tell us one thing people might be surprised to know about you.

I was a Georgia Tech Cheerleader in 1997 and 1998!

If you were a brand, what would your personal slogan be?

It’s all about balance

If you could only have one book to read the rest of your life, what would it be? Or what is the most influential book you have ever read?

Expect to Win by Carla Harris was the most influential book I’ve read. Lots of great tips on success!

Hobbies/interests? What do you do to relieve stress?

Running, Tennis and wine nights with friends.

Other than your career, what other skill would you like to develop most in life?

I would love to be a motivational speaker someday!
