Fellowships available in five different fields; Application Deadline April 1, 2010


Atlanta, GAAtlanta BeltLine, Inc. (ABI) has launched a new fellowship program to increase the capacity of its staff and provide to invaluable work experience for fellows. The Atlanta BeltLine Fellowship represents a tremendous opportunity to positively impact the way Atlanta will mature as a great city.

The Atlanta BeltLine is the most comprehensive urban redevelopment initiative currently underway in the United States. It will enrich Atlanta’s quality of life with parks, trails, transit, economic development, affordable housing and public art, and set a national standard for transformative investment, sustainable growth, and equitable development.

ABI is seeking qualified applicants in the fields of Arts; Community Engagement; Construction Management; Communications; and Global Information Systems (GIS). The Atlanta BeltLine is a $2.8 billion redevelopment project that will provide a network of public parks, multi-use trails and transit along a historic 22-mile railroad corridor circling downtown and connecting many neighborhoods directly to each other. The BeltLine is the most comprehensive economic development effort ever undertaken in the City of Atlanta and among the largest, most wide-ranging urban redevelopment projects currently underway in the United States.
